1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or purchasing from YugenCabins.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use this Site or purchase any products or services. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of the Site.

2. Digital Plan Sets — Single-Use License

2.1 What You Receive

Each purchase of a Yugen Cabins digital plan set grants you a single-use, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to construct one (1) structure based on the purchased design at one (1) specific permitted project location.

2.2 Permitted Uses

Your license allows you to:

• Download and print copies of the plan set for your own personal construction use

• Submit the plans to your local building department for a single permit application

• Share the plans with your licensed general contractor, subcontractors, and consultants directly engaged in your single permitted build

• Make minor field-level notations on printed copies for construction coordination

2.3 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT, without prior written consent from Yugen Cabins:

• Reuse the plans for a second structure, even on the same property or an adjacent parcel

• Resell, sublicense, transfer, or share the plan files digitally with any third party

• Use the plans as the basis for derivative designs or new plan sets

• Reproduce or distribute the plans through any online marketplace, file-sharing platform, or other channel

• Use the plans for commercial development of multiple units without purchasing a multi-use commercial license (contact us for pricing)

2.4 Multiple Builds

If you intend to build the same design more than once — whether for investment properties, short-term rentals, or any other purpose — you must purchase a separate plan license for each structure. Please contact support@yugencabins.com to inquire about volume licensing options.

2.5 Copyright & Intellectual Property

All plan sets, drawings, specifications, renderings, and design documents are the original creative and intellectual property of Yugen Cabins and its licensed architects. Copyright is retained by Yugen Cabins in all jurisdictions. Purchasing a plan set does not transfer copyright, ownership of the design, or any rights beyond the single-use license described above.

3. Architectural Design Services

3.1 Scope of Services

Yugen Cabins may offer custom architectural design services separate from the purchase of standard plan sets. The scope, deliverables, fees, and timeline for any custom design engagement will be set forth in a separate written agreement ("Design Agreement") between you and Yugen Cabins prior to the commencement of work.

3.2 Not a Stamped Engineering Document

IMPORTANT: Standard plan sets sold on this Site are architect-designed for buildability and are intended to serve as a strong construction foundation. However, they are NOT stamped or engineered for your specific site, jurisdiction, or soil conditions. You are responsible for:

• Engaging a locally licensed structural engineer or architect of record to review, stamp, and seal documents as required by your local building department

• Verifying that the plans meet all applicable local, state, and federal building codes

• Obtaining all required permits before beginning construction

• Any site-specific modifications required by your jurisdiction or local conditions

3.3 No Architect-Client Relationship

Unless you have entered into a separate written Design Agreement with Yugen Cabins, purchase of a plan set does not create an architect-client relationship. Yugen Cabins is not your architect of record and assumes no professional liability for site-specific applications of the plans.

3.4 Custom Design Engagements

For clients who engage Yugen Cabins for custom design services under a separate Design Agreement, professional services will be governed by the terms of that agreement, including scope of work, fee structure, intellectual property provisions, and limitations of liability. Custom design fees are not refundable once design work has commenced.

4. Refund & Return Policy

4.1 Digital Plan Sets

Because digital plan sets are delivered electronically and are immediately accessible upon purchase, all sales are FINAL. No refunds will be issued once a digital plan set has been downloaded or accessed. Please review all available plan information, sample pages, and FAQs carefully before purchasing.

4.2 Exceptions

Refund requests will only be considered in the event of a verified technical delivery failure where you were unable to access the plan files and Yugen Cabins is unable to resolve the issue within 5 business days of your purchase. 5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

5.1 As-Is Basis

Plan sets and all content on this Site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

5.2 Construction Risk

Construction involves inherent risks. Yugen Cabins makes no representations or warranties regarding actual construction costs, timelines, structural performance, or regulatory compliance for your specific project. Cost estimates provided in any marketing materials or plan descriptions are illustrative only and will vary significantly based on location, materials, labor markets, and site conditions.

5.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yugen Cabins shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, purchase of plan sets, or reliance on any content herein. Yugen Cabins' total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific plan set giving rise to the claim.

6. General Provisions

6.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], without regard to conflict of law principles.

6.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in [YOUR COUNTY], [YOUR STATE], in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
