SMOKEYS
800 Sq. Ft.
20′ x 20′
My grandfather was a Firefighter for the US Forest Service. Growing up with his stories I gained an appreciation for the position. In the spirit of that service and in honor of those who risk their lives to protect our forests this cabin represents a traditional form of protection and admiration. A heavy base for sleeping and living areas protects from the elements while the tower provides unrestricted views of the surroundings. The decks and roofs extend in all areas, guiding your eyes to the surroundings. The cabin creates a symbiotic relationship – it is a place to take in the awe-inspiring nature around you and encourages stewardship of what makes it so profound.
