At Yugen Cabins we provide consultation to answer the many questions that arise. We offer site analysis and feasibility studies, as well guidance on code requirements. We would love to come check out your building site and provide some options.
DIY with Plan Sets
If you are interested in unique cabin designs with a focus on efficiency, quality, and well-being, see what plan sets we have to offer and manage the build yourself. We are always designing more. Plans include cabins, Accessory Dwelling Units, and Off-Grid Homes.
Architectural Design-Build
Full service architectural design with alicensed Architect and a network of vetted Contractors to partner with. We start with your priorities and stay with you through the entire process.

What areas do we serve?
Consultation and plan sets can be provided to any location with digital access. Architectural services and in-person site analyses are available in Utah and surrounding areas.
Can I build myself or bring my own Contractor?
Yes, we laud a collaborative community. “Cabin Raising” may even become a new term. We can consult on the build, permitting, and construction administration and love to meet new people.
How long will it take?
Each project is different and present unique challenges and opportunities. Location, size, access among other things can change the expected timeline. The design process up to permitting typically spans 3-6 months.
Can the plan sets be modified or customized?
Most certainly! Especially if you have a site to build on, you may want to capitalize on specific opportunities.
Do we help with remodels?
Absolutely, as an architecture based practice we are experienced in new builds and remodels. We can assist with additions and play Sherlock in determining causes of wear.
Can we work with modular construction and 3rd party companies?
Definitely! There are a lot of efficiencies and quality control with modular design. You can get a cabin designed the way you want and speed up the construction time.
